In Memory of O.50 / Reg.#189,
Supt. George Buchanan Moffatt

'Friends Not Forgotten'

Superintendent G.B. Moffatt was born in America in 1854 and he joined the Force in 1878 but he left due to time expired in 1881.

He re-engaged in 1883 and he served until 1903. Upon retirement, he was the Officer Commanding Maple Creek.

Supt. Moffatt endured considerable medical problems for years prior to retirement. He died in 1950 and he is buried in Victoria, BC
