'Friends Not Forgotten'
Reg #30550 (Rtd.) Cst. Ronald William McGeachy passed away peacefully on
September 2, 2011 in Edmonton, AB at the age of 63 years with his family by his side.
Ron is survived by his two daughters: Veronica "Roni" (Tom) Trottier and Dana (Chris)
McCarty as well as his granddaughter Claire.
Ron will also be mourned by his sister Lynn (Claude) Munari and the mother of his children, Kathy. Ron was predeceased by his mother June.
Ron retired in 2003 after 30 years’ service with the RCMP. After retirement. his proudest moments were the marriage of his two daughters and the birth of his first grandchild.
As per Ron's request a private family service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Norwood Continuing Care Facility, 10410 ·111 Avenue, Edmonton, AS T5G3A2.
Ron was a member of the Force from June 11, 1973 where he served in 'K' Div. until his retirement on July 4, 2003
