'Friends Not Forgotten'

This memorable photo of Sgt. Pepin wearing his Pea Jacket was received today from Sgt. Pepin's nephew, Mr. Ron Morin.
Sgt. Pepin was born in 1905 and he joined the Force in 1929. He served in Ottawa until his retirement in 1956.
Nephew, Mr. Morin adds:  Dear Sir; 'George Pepin was my uncle. Upon retirement from the RCMP he worked at the Senate of Canada. He passed away while in the employ of the Senate.'

Sgt. Pepin died in 1966. He is buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa, ON.
