Grave Discovery: Reg.#8592, John M. Young

Reg.# 8592, John McKenzie Young served in the Force for about one year (1919-1920). Later, it was known that he had been killed in California, USA in 1931 by a low-lying gang of banditos.

But, the final resting place of Cst. Young had always remained a mystery -- had he been buried in America or in Canada?
Recently, Edmonton, AB Vet. AJH 'Joe' Collinson and Toronto Vet. Jack O'Reilly collaborated on the web to search for Cst. Young's grave.

Our Vets discovered that he indeed was buried in Canada -- for the present, the exact place of burial is being kept 'under wraps'. More to follow.
We congratulate Vets Collinson and O'Reilly for their persistent journalism skills!
