The two photos of Erwin Bartkowski were sent in by his daughter, Ms Debbie Fournier. Thank you!

The first pictue above may have been taken while Dad was posted in Two Hills, Alberta. It's one of my favourites.
The second photo is of Dad and a German Shepherd which he got as a pup and trained to be his partner.  The dog's name was Buck and from all that I heard about Buck from Dad, family and other people who knew them was that Buck was incredible.

According to my Dad, Buck was a direct decendent (the Vergo line) of the lead dog in the show The Littlest Hobo.
Erwin Bartowski died in 2007 and he is buried in Red Deer, Alberta.

Thank you again for these memorable photos of your father.
