  1. Hi Joe
Apprising you of a member who died on duty, but does not seem to appear on the honor role. He served with my father Reg. #10851, Joseph Thomas Parsons, deceased at Kamsack Sask in the '30's. Sometime around 1935, after he left Kamsack he collapsed in Red Serge at a parade, fell off a horse and died. He was about 30 yrs. of age. I suspect he was married secretly, as he did not have sufficient service to marry, but had a son, Jack Ian Fraser, who also joined the Force, served in F Div and died prematurely, also of a heart attack. Jack's son was also briefly a member. I was named after Ian, but never knew him. I do not have any further info, re reg # etc. Because he died on duty, it seems fitting that he be noted on the honor role of the Force. Do not know what you might be able to do with this. Regards, Ian Parsons
