Dear Joe,
I found your story in Frontline and thought it was most interesting. I have recently had the opportunity of doing some research on Cst. Willis Rhodenizer who was the first RCMP DogMaster to be killed in the line of duty in 1939.
I checked your website and was happy to see that he was listed. I have a photo of his grave should you like it. Also to note (his correct spelling) is 'Rhodenizer' as on his grave. I have met with his siblings who are all still alive! They are in their 80's and 90's now and they had some great stories to tell me about him!
If there is something you would like me to send you ie; photo or anything else in relation to Cst. Rhodenizer don't hestiate to send me an email.
Keep up the good work!

Dear C.A.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great note! Thank you!
We continue to find fancinating stories about past generations of the Force. So, I'm very pleased to learn of your work and that you have met the Cst. Willis Rhodenizer family. They too must be thrilled to have a new connection to the Force!
I'd sure like to have some pictures; one of his grave and perhaps one of you with the Rhodenizer family.
Get On Parade!
Yours truly,
Joe
