It is believed that he died from cancer.

S/Sgt. Cummings served from 1950 to 1976 in 'A', 'D', 'HQ', 'D', 'HQ', 'B', & 'HQ' Div.

Obituary

CUMMINGS, B. Glen Ret S/Sgt RCMP 22 March 1931 - 12 January 2010 Passed away peacefully in hospital with family by his side. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Doreen, son Glen (Tamy) Cummings, daughters Brenda (Rob) MacFarlane, Sharon (Brad) Welsh and grandchildren Vanessa and Matthew Welsh. Brothers Gene (Yolanda), Doug (Edna) sister Mary (George) Hartwell.

Joined RCMP in 1950; retired in 1976 and moved to Winnipeg. Glen enjoyed golfing, bird watching, horse racing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a strong person with a soft heart. After a short and courageous battle with cancer he left us but will remain in our hearts. Memorial service was held on January 18, 2010 in Winnipeg.
