Casualities of WWI: Remembrance Day


Regular web contributor Edmonton Vet. AJH 'Joe' Collinson presented this list of members who died during WWI: 'Maintain Our Memories'.

Reg.#2036, Herbert William Walker Donaldson. Date of Death: May, 8, 1914. His name is listed on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, France.

Reg.#5908, Leslie Titus. He enlisted on August 23, 1915 and joined the Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Titus died on  September 26, 1916.  He rests in the Courcelette British Cemetery, Somme, France.

Reg.#5820, James Grey Turner enlisted in the Lord Strathcona Horse Regiment on May 25, 1917 and died on April 9, 1918. Turner is buried in St. Sever's Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.

    Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
    Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 10.
    Memorial: YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL
