In the Force, 'E' 'Division is the largest. Some also say the best.
Some years ago, our 'E' Division Vets established the following protocol for services of deceased members.
There are four Honour Guard Teams and each team looks after a specific region within the Division.
Each team has been provided a Shabrack, Stetson, and a CD of the Last Post and Reveille. Spare Commanders-at-Large are available to fill in at a service if a regularly appointed Commander is unable to attend.
Each Team also has a four minute protocol announcement so that all teams are consistent at a service. The family is asked to prepare the Table of Remembrance; a photo of the deceased in uniform; medals, hobbies; mementos and urn.
The Table of Remembrance is covered with the Shabrack.
