RCMP Members shot in 'K' Div., (Alberta)
'Friends Not Forgotten'
Early this evening (February 7, 2012) CBC TV began to report that two RCMP members had been shot in a small town south east of Edmonton, AB. The two members had been air lifted to hospitals in Edmonton. Their condition is not known at 2100H central time.
All members of the Force from coast to coast to coast are deeply affected by incidents in which our members are assaulted, injured or killed. In spite of having been well trained to confront dangerous incidents, every police officer hopes that everyone on shift remains safe and that no one is hurt.
Our prayers are with these two members and their families during the night and in the following days.
