Alexander Hare was born around the Brockville, Ontario area. He joined the NWMP on April 1, 1874 and he was a member of the March West.
Sub/Constable Hare took his discharge from the NWMP on April 1, 1877. He was provided with a land parcel in Wappela, SK where he farmed until his death in 1905.
Sub Constable Hare is believed to be buried in Victoria, BC
