'Friends Not Forgotten'

Reg. # 23178, JJC (Clement 'Clem') Thivierge

THIVIERGE, JEAN CLEMENT - 1943-2011 - It is with great sadness after a 4 year journey with cancer that Clem Thivierge passed away in his 67th year. Born in Westmount on September 30, 1943, he was the son of the late Joseph Adrien Thivierge and Jeanne Bourque. Clem is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon (Clarke); adored father of Chantale (Rick); and dear Poppy of Lydia and Jonathon. Surviving brothers are Michel (Lillian), Ottawa, Aur?e "Chip" (Sue), Calgary, Gilles (Yolande), Shediac.

Uncle Clem will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Drs. Karlyne DuFour and Pam Mansfield and the many nurses at the Palliative Care Unit, Moncton Hospital, who provided comfort and support in his final weeks. Clem worked for over 40 years in the field of public safety and corporate security.

Clem was an avid golfer and car enthusiast and he had a great love for his Porche and Z4 (driven considerably slower). Clem left his life as he lived it, doing things his way with his family at his side. There will be no visitation prior to the Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, July 6, at 11:00am at Paroisse Notre Dame D'Acadie, 18 Antonine Maillet, Universit?de Moncton, with a reception to follow at the church hall. A private burial to be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In Clem's memory, please consider a donation to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, (506) 852-3530. The family invites you to send online condolences to www.fairhavenmemorial.ca

Clem's brother is retired Reg. #22932 / O.1171 Michel Thivierge former  CO 'C' Div.
