Pete was a member of Troop 2 1975 and was a really fun guy to have around. He always found the humor in things, and was a favorite target of the drill instructors. I haven't talked to Pete since we left Depot, but I know that he brightened the lives of those around him.
ReplyDeleteRest in Peace Pete Foley.

Dear Members,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Nicole Foley, the eldest child of the late Peter Foley. I wanted to thank the many of you who have contacted our family during this difficult time, extending your thoughts and prayers. There are many of you who I would swear I know personally, my father was so proud to have been a Member and spoke often and at length of his time in the RCMP.The lessons learned in depot stayed with him through out his life and I wish for you to know that he lived an honorable and charitable one. He never stopped laughing or believing in the good of people and remained to this day the strongest swimmer I ever went up against!!
Thank you to those of you who helped shape him into the wonderful man he became. He is missed in ways that cannot be expressed in words but the memories shared through tributes such as these help to ease the pain.
sincerly, Nicole Foley
