Constable Michael Lee Brant Kennedy
'Friends Not Forgotten'
Constable Brent Kennedy was born in 1953. His dream was to join the Force which he successfully did in October, 1973.
On November 17, 1974, Constable Kennedy died in an single car motor vehicle accident near Banff, AB. He was off duty at the time.
Following Constable Kennedy's death, his mother sold six acres of land to build a new school. As well, she donated a further four and one half acres to the school in memory of her son. Constable Kennedy had lived nearby and he had attended local schools.
Brent Kennedy Elementary School in Creston - Kaslo Crescent Valley, British Columbia, was named after Constable Michael Lee Brent Kennedy.
He was buried his home town at Nelson, BC Memorial Park.
